Time to Celebrate National Tequila Day!

This year, forgo the biting shots you mastered in college by introducing yourself to a wide range of flavors offered by today’s leading brands. Here are some recipes on mixing those drinks. 

The Mad for Margarita Fan – 1800® Silver Tequila
The United States’ best selling super-premium tequila, renowned for being expertly aged and consistently smooth. Named after the year it was created, 1800® Tequila is pure, 100% blue agave tequila grown on family-owned ranches and bottled in Jalisco, Mexico.

 Perfect Pear Margarita

1 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila

.25 oz. Pear Puree

.25 oz. Fresh lime juice

.25 oz. Agave nectar

Splash of Chambord

Combine first four ingredients in a cocktail shake with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a lightly salted high ball glass.

1 oz. Passion fruit juice

5 Muddled Limes

Drizzle of Raspberry liquor

Muddle limes and agave nectar in the bottom of a mixing glass. Add ice and all other ingredients besides the raspberry liquor. Shake and pour contents into a rocks glass and drizzle with the raspberry liquor.

    Great post. I have a bottle of Patron in the fridge so after this long week, I’ll go home and take a few shots. Only in honor of National Tequila Day you know ;) lol
