I was reading the Diary of a Divine Diva yesterday and the web editor wrote a post about yellow being the hottest color of the season. So, I wanted to share her post with my Beyond Black Beauty readers.
Yellow has always been very flattering on darker skin tones. And, now that women are more conscious of colors and fits that are perfect for their body, choosing the right colors for their wardrobe is a must.
Yellow is a color that many of us used to hate; now we are embracing the yellow fever. Yellow is bright, loud, and holds the eye instantly—even more so than white. When you decide to wear yellow, let’s face it: you have just decided that you want to be noticed, and not in the most subtle way possible.
The range of colors that accentuate yellow in most clothing attire are the dark tones and shades. Charcoal grays, deep browns, royal blue and similar colors make a good pairing with yellow. A suggestion is to use muted shades of yellow in these color combinations so as not to jar the eye from one part of the outfit to the other.

Thanks so much love!!! I have been scared of colors because of the color of my skin but I have grown to understand how to make it work!! Gr8 piece and that was my birthday color this year!!!

Yellow is an awesome color. Wonder how it will be used in weddings again.
Love that coat. I think a yellow coat is in the stars for me for this winter. Thanks for the idea!
