Sometimes I let my locs flow free sometimes I put them up. My husband doesnt really care whats on my head. If he wants to take it off then he does I kindly put it back on later.

I totally agree with the ladies on this one. If we didn’t wear a head scarf to bed we would look like who did it and ran the next morning. Men must understand that black hair is very different for the others and it must be trained to stay down in order to look good. Perhaps this pretty silky scarf will be the compromise, hopefully if it’s not so silky that it will slip off at night. Let me know.

I understand both sides. When I got married 12 years ago my husband did not like me wearing my scarf to bed but when I saying I need to get my hair done again and he have to kick out $50.00 every week then i was boo boo you not going to tie your hair up. So that fixed that. So my idea is to find some matching ear rings and some heels and come to bed wearing just that and he will for get all about the scarf or he can pay up every week.

Yes I wear my scarf to bed the majority of the time. I am a female who spends a lot of time and money on my hair and also I don’t have a perm right now therefore I must take the proper steps to maintain my hair. If dude wants me to sleep without a scarf on he better be prepared to come up out the pocket to make sure I can get it done again. That’s like me telling a man he can’t wear a du rag to bed. These men are mislead by these tv women who wake up flawless. They need a reality check.

You know I’m gonna have to agree with the lady’s on this one. If your planning on getting my hair done the next day then I won’t wear the scarf. Since that’s not the case I’m wearing my scarf, if you don’t wanna look at me focus on the T.V. like you said. But remember your game better be correct when conming to bed as well. It’s not a big deal any way take me for who I am or don’t take me at all. Your going to bed not out to a fancy resturant. Live love and laugh it’s a scarf dude!

Hey cuz…my boo Mr. Lettuce feels that I should keep my hair wrapped up before going to bed…he understands that a women must look there best…the only thing he doesn’t care is when I tie my scarf like I’m wearing a Du-Rag…see he knows if I come to bed without a scarf…he is getting the time of his life..so tell your boo its not world war 2 its I gotta look good for him at all times…so relax..

Yes, I agree with Real! If it weren’t for the head scarf, our men would have never felt an attraction to us in the first place. There would have never been an exchange of phone numbers/email addresses and if a first date managed to occur, we would look a hot mess. I am hoping that ladies only wear this head scarf in the house and to bed. If this is not the case and the head scarf has become her mandatory accessory, then a major discussion should be held.

I think most men — Black men — want their women to look GOOD, but I don’t think they understand what it takes for a Black woman to look GOOD. Unlike our other racial counterparts, we must tie down our hair at night with a head tie, scarf or ‘do rag. I only wear my head tie when I go to bed. That is the only time it needs to be worn (and at the gym). Ladies– if you wear a ‘do rag during the day and you don’t look “enticing” for your man, then your relationship is doomed for failure!

First off, I never told the woman that she looks like Aunt Jemima whenever she wears a do rag. I have no idea where she got that from. She probably pulled that crazy mess from her wild imagination. With that said, I told her that no man wants to lay in bed nor get his freak on with a woman who looks like a dude or like someone who is going to war. Yes that’s right I said it! If a woman walks around wearing a do rag on her head, no make up, no perfume,an old tight college tee shirt & sweatpants, guess what? Her dude eye sockets will be focus on the television and not on her ass! That’s right I said it.
