I learned to shave by legs with a bar of soap and a $.99 razor. After tons of nicks and cuts, I’m thrilled to say my shaving ritual has evolved.
I now use… drum roll, please…. SHAVE CREAM! And, it’s not my boyfriend’s shave cream either. There are tons of creams on the market today for women. I had a chance to review moisturizing shave cream and an amazing 2-in-1 shower and shave.
Pure Silk makes a shave cream with aloe for women that is fun to use because it lathers up (I always think that’s the best part of using a cream) and smells amazing. The best feature, my legs really felt like silk. That close shave was noticeable and amazing. My boyfriend said, “You have the best legs.” If only he know what I went through.
The following week, I used Lavanilla Laboratories 2-in-1 shower wash and shave cream. I tried the vanilla passion fruit scent and it smelled amazing. My skin had a pleasant smell mid-day, which was hours after my shower. The shave cream portion worked fine and my legs were smooth as butter, but I missed the whipped foam that makes it so fun to shave. This product was also made with aloe, which was really soothing.
My skin was nourished and I’m lovin’ it.
