Anyone who knows me knows that I love shapewear- it’s the best thing, since sliced bread. I have a few go-to pieces when I want to eliminate bulges, hide visible panty lines and create an ultra-sleek physique. I had an opportunity to view the new Sheer Iridesscent collection by Body Wrap and was thrilled that it was a sheer collection, which means it was light and soft enough to wear in the summer under my barely there dress. I usually opt for firm control but realize that a sheer fabric may not hold you in as much as a heavier garment – but the slip I had was fine. The cups were large enough to be treated like a normal bra. (This may seem tacky, but I usually cut the cups out so I can wear my own bra with the slip.)
I loved the slip. I felt slim, trim and confident. My boyfriend couldn’t keep his hands off of me. And, when it was time to take off the dress, I wasn’t embarrassed because my shapewear didn’t look like grand mommy’s girdle. I actually looked like a sexy vixen.
Another brand of shapewear that you might like if you love body wrap is Skweez Couture. It comes out in the fall and is very similar in the look of the pieces.
