I know that I am sadly saying goodbye to the warmer weather and begrudingly pulling out the bulky sweaters in preparation for the impending winter (BOO!)This is when I really start to dream about vacations to far away, warm places. As most of you know, I am a cruise fanatic, and I’m always looking for new tips on the best cruise ships, deals and vacation spots. That’s why I was so excited when I came across this new social networking site – Shipbuddies.com- a warm-weathered dream spot where jet-setting and social networking unite!
Shipbuddies.com gives you the ability to meet new people with similar interests in travel, chat about upcoming vacations for insider tips, and best of all, allows you to forge lasting friendships that will remain long after your vacation has come to an end. The site also allows you to share photos of your vacations, and provide reviews/feedback on your recently visited hot spots to help fellow travelers in their vacation planning. I created a profile, and through my new friends I’ve learned about a new Carnival ship I’ve never been on…definitely going to check it out. I’m feeling warmer already!
