Less than a week ago, I got a UV gel manicure that was supposed to last two week. I usually try CND Shellac or Harmony Gelish, but this time I was convinced to try a new CSI gel manicure. (I did a search online of the brand and could not find anyone blogging about the brand.) The results were no bueno! The $35 manicure lasted five days before I peeled each strip of polish off of my fingers.
In an effort to save money, I decided to paint my own nails with a pretty purple hue called BO12 Vigneto from Borghese Rapido fast dry nail lacquer. I had to apply three coats to obtain total opaque and due to the rapido fast dry formula, this manicure wasn’t a bitch to dry. The bright colors in this line is also an added bonus. Let’s hope I can get at least three days of wear before I have to remove and redo.
