Dear Instyler,
I’ve cheated on you.
As much as I love my Instyler I decided to try out the FHI HEAT Platform 1-inch ceramic flat iron. I have come to the conclusion that my hair should never ever be touched by anything other than my Instyler. I washed my hair and let it air dry. I sectioned my hair and styled accordingly. I have to say that I didn’t love the out come. I noticed that my ends were not as straight and I smelled that flat iron burn. This product doesn’t do it for my hair. Although it was a nice finish its not the finish I’m used to compared to when I use the Instyler.
Three pros for me were that the FHI Heat flat iron is lightweight and easy to use. It has several heating temperature options and it give the hair a curl like finish towards the ends. My cons have to be that burning smell to the hair. Even on a low heat I still managed to smell it. Another thing that I didn’t like was the the cord was SO long. I mean I know the functionality of being able to move around if you are in a salon and it’s being used but in the house it’s just a bit much.
If I had to give a number a flat irons in rating I would give it a 2 and half out of five flat irons! My review would have been a little higher –and maybe I’m biased — but, I love my Instyler
