My eyebrows really frame my face. And since they are my face art, I want brows that are strong, shapely and dark. I don’t get them done too often for fear that I’ll receive a blotch job and end up with brows so thin that they resemble spaghetti.
A few weeks ago, I saw Julie, the fab in-house expert makeup artist at Angelo David Salon, who framed my face perfectly. Julie is really an artist as she transformed my brows with her tweezers. (Julie doesn’t use wax or thread to shape brows.) Whatever her technique, her results were pure magic.
Here is the before and after:
I love looking in the mirror at my brows. Julie was able to give me tips on how to fill in my brows at home. I ran to the local CVS pharmacy and bought Revlon ColorStay brow enhancer, which is a quick and simple 2-step tinted wax and illuminate in one.
How do you like these frames?
I love it. Julie took her time and gave me a full consultation. She said that three more sessions with her and my brows will fully have a flattering shape — eliminating the need for frequent waxing, threading or tweezing. I can’t wait to book my next appointment to see Julie at the Angelo David Salon and you should too if you live in New York City!

Ummm I AM GOING TO GET MINE DONE!!!!
Girl, Julie was amazing. Her eyes are trained to see tiny hairs that I couldn’t
I love this! I think it not only looks great, but will be relatively easy to maintain. Also, I love that the brow is still full, as they have a tendency to take away too much.
I think they look amazing. I may need to go myself being that my hair is now highlighted i feel my eyebrows are too dark to compliment the lighter hair. You look great
Julie indeed is a miracle worker. I am glad you were able to finally meet her.
I like how your brows came out. I use Lamik’s Celebrity Brow Kit but I still have to spend a lot of time to get my brows looking right. I bought a stencil set but only 1 in the 5 comes out half way decent.
