Janet’s Spring Lip Color

We met up after work a few weeks ago at the MAC Cosmetics counter in Macy’s in search of the perfect spring lip color. I LOVE a bold lip, but even I tone it down for the warmer months. Janet tried on tons of shades in the pink and purple families before we both agreed, “That’s it!”

Janet tried on Sweetie, Up the Amp, Creme de la Femme, Power Lunch -- all from MAC Cosmetics.

But, with all that test and learn, we decided that LoveLorn was the winner. Here’s Janet in LoveLorn:

We also loved Cosmo, but figured that Janet could recreate this look by adding a gloss.

We loved this MAC Cosmo lipstick too. It's a creamy pink-nude-brown combo. Lovelorn was the winner though, since Janet could get the Cosmo look by adding a gloss and mixing shades

Lovelorn looks fab on her skin. I fall in love all over again each time I see the color shimmer on the street. Love that the texture is creamy and glossy. What do you think? Did she make a good choice. Do you have any recommendations for Janet?
