“My spring/summer collection is inspired by Arabic mosaics, geometric shapes, Moroccan and Indian culture, and the free spirit of everyday women.”
-Erica Appleby the designer and mastermind behind ETA Luxe.
This collection is exceptional, ladies. At times, I am bold and daring, but at other times, I love to tone it down – and ETA Luxe has something for everyone.
Erica is a great talent. Her love for fashion extends far into her childhood; she used to sketch her mother Audrey’s clothing and accessories in hopes of one day dressing her mom and women the world over. An alumna of Miami’s Design and Architecture Senior High (DASH), Erica now studies at NYC’s famed Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) where she focuses on refining her craft.
Earlier this year, Erica launched ETA Luxe by Erica Appleby, a woman’s ready-to-wear line that blends art and fashion and embodies her unique talent for using color and texture to create pieces that demonstrate her artistic passion. The daring, urban-inspired pieces are for women who are unafraid to “embrace fashion on their own terms.” The pieces of the collection are all interchangeable and give women the freedom to tone down or amplify their “sexiness.”
“I wanted to approach this collection a little differently than before by using a lot of color and alternative fabrics, yet still staying true to myself.”
-Erica Appleby

And Erica does not disappoint. As you’ll see in this photo, the models are all wearing colorful pieces that mix various textures and design elements.
“I use my artistic abilities as my influence to picking fabrics with texture and introducing my beading.”
-Erica Appleby
The use of cut outs (like in the dusty rose dress in the center of this photo) fuse the woman’s skin and clothing to become a mosaic – transforming the garment and the woman wearing it into a piece of art.
Be on the lookout for www.ETALuxe.com (coming soon) to see all the pieces from this amazing collection.

I really like her style. Please do remind me when this site launches. My favorite in that photo is the tan dress on the end. I could see rocking that to work.
