With Fall 2012 Ready-to-wear behind us and Resort 2013 in front of us; I’m so happy to see bright colors on the runway again, especially considering that we are in July. Max Azria recently presented his 2013 Resort collection for both BCBG and Hervé Léger.
For BCBG’s Resort 2013 collection Max Azria decided to borrow from BCBG’s Fall 2012 collection with playful, billowy maxi dresses / skirts with mid thigh side spits and color blocking, but this season they also added some sheath dresses along with interesting ethnic inspired embroideries and lace.
I’m always so surprised season after season by the innovative ways that Hervé Léger by Max Azria recreates their signature bandage dress. This season they decided to go with bright fruity color blocking and prints, dress that move in the wind (with the body-con bodice of course), cutout swimsuits that you wouldn’t dare swim in and they’ve even incorporated rubber and leather materials for their dresses designs.
